Sleep Studies
It is estimated that more than 40 million Americans suffer from some form of sleep-disordered breathing. Of these, more than 12 million suffer from some form of sleep apnea. Sleep studies can determine if there is a problem during stages of sleep.

The most common types of sleep studies include:
- Polysomnogram. An "all night" sleep test that records brain activity, various types of muscle activity, eye movements, breathing and oxygen saturation.
- Multiple sleep latency test (MSLT). A test is done to measure how long it takes to fall asleep.
- Maintenance Wakefulness Test (MWT). This test is done to measure whether you can stay awake during a time when you are normally awake.
